Offbeat Lab is a one-person creative project based in Barcelona, created by Ile — a human with a sewing machine, too many ideas, and a soft spot for strange little creatures.

It all started just for fun.

I began creating weird little animal characters simply because they made me laugh. One became two, then five, then ten. Before I knew it, they had grown into a world of their own.

As the collection grew, I couldn't resist giving each of them its own personality, flaws, habits, and way of seeing the world. Somehow, these animals started feeling surprisingly... human.

That's when I realized I wanted to turn them into something wearable: soft cotton T-shirts with characters that feel a bit strange, a bit honest, and never too polished.

Every animal is based on a personality you probably know — maybe even your own.
